About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our client's Finance function in a prestigious organisation within the aviation industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Account Payable specialists, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Provide day-to-day leadership to the team, ensuring a smooth delivery of services and focusing on quality, service standards, and process improvements.
    • Take accountability for the team's performance against defined milestones and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Financial Operations
    • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Account Payable team, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and employees.
    • Work closely with the procurement team to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
  • Process Improvement and Control
    • Identify and escalate system challenges to the accountable team, ensuring efficient resolution.
    • Sign off monthly process and key controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
