Job Title: Finance Team Lead

Our client, a prestigious organisation within the aviation industry, is seeking a talented Finance Team Lead to join their busy Finance function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team delivering day-to-day activities in Accounts Payable
  • Oversee the delivery of payments on time to suppliers and employees for expenses
  • Work closely with the procurement team to ensure efficient processes
  • Identify and escalate system challenges to the accountable team
  • Sign off monthly process and key controls
Main Duties:
  • Provide leadership to the team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring a smooth delivery of the service
  • Take accountability for the team's performance against defined milestones and KPIs
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to drive value through clear objectives and effective prioritisation
  • Create a culture that delivers accountability, openness, and improvement
  • Ensure effective audit controls are followed through and use data to identify trends and key priorities
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable people management skills with the ability to create a positive team culture
  • Effective influencing and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders on all levels
  • Demonstrable experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Strong resilience and a drive to achieve great results within tight deadlines
