Software Development Role Overview
beBee Professionals is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to lead our development team in the UK. This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions while mentoring junior developers and ensuring code quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement high-performance software applications.
  • Lead technical decision-making processes and code reviews.
  • Mentor and guide junior software engineers in best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.
  • Write and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues as they arise.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and integrate new technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and 5+ years of professional experience in software development. You should also be proficient in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript, and have experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum). Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills are also essential. Additionally, experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) is a plus. Strong leadership and communication skills are also required. The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
