About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Sodexo. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the highest standard.
  • Monitor and control food costs, ensuring that we are able to provide high-quality meals at a competitive price.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes, working closely with our culinary team to ensure that they are aligned with our business objectives.
  • Ensure that our kitchen is clean and well-maintained, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to ensure that our kitchen is always clean and well-maintained.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Basic food handling skills certification, including NVQ Level 2 and Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
