A leading charity in Woking, Surrey, is seeking a highly skilled Finance Director to lead their finance team and support the Chief Executive in strategic planning. The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Finance Director or Head of Finance, ideally in a charity or not-for-profit organisation. A qualified accountant (CIMA or AAT) with international exposure would be an advantage.
The Finance Director will be responsible for financial control, including annual reports and accounts, budgeting, forecasting, VAT, cash handling, payroll, and balance sheet management. They will also identify financial opportunities, work closely with the trustees and chief executive, and negotiate key commercial contracts.
