Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to lead our team in preparing and completing statutory reports, ensuring compliance with Charity SORP FRS102. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to produce high-quality financial information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and complete year-end statutory accounts and annual reports for audit.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure full compliance with Charity SORP FRS102.
Budgeting & Forecasting

The Financial Controller will be responsible for leading the budgeting process, financial forecasting, and long-term planning to ensure financial efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts and budgets.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
Stakeholder Engagement

The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for financial matters with key stakeholders, including internal and external customers.

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to build relationships and ensure smooth operations.
  • Act as the Head of Finance Deputy in meetings and manage the team in the absence of the Head of Finance.
Requirements:
  • Possess knowledge of Public Sector, SORP, FRS102, Charities, and Companies Act requirements.
  • Have experience producing statutory accounts from preparation to completion.
  • Be proficient in management and project accounting.

Salary: 46,000 - 49,500 per annum, plus benefits.
