We are currently seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic nuclear team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance on mechanical engineering projects, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and compliant solutions. You will lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

The successful candidate will have/be: A qualification in Mechanical Engineering, preferably to Degree level with Chartered Engineer (CEng) with IMechE or equivalent institute. Demonstrable expertise with a track record of successful application of specialist knowledge or skills. Current experience working in a post where design was a major part of the role. Extensive post Chartership experience working in roles where your engineering knowledge of relevant practices, techniques and procedures is a key attribute. Able to demonstrate Management of a team or function and in particular within complex or novel assignments. Demonstrable record of successful delivery.
