Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Documentation Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time position that involves working closely with clinicians to ensure efficient referral processing and timely completion of medical records.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Audiotyping of referral letters and taking histories.
  • Liaising with external agencies such as the NHS, private providers, and community services.
  • Processing requests for online access to full medical records.
  • Completing private paperwork requests, including SARs, insurance documents, iGPR software, DVLA forms, and patient letter requests.

We have our own dispensaries at De Parys and Bromham sites, offering routine GMS services, minor surgery, LARC provision, anticoagulation clinics, and developing under the NAPC framework. We integrate mental health services and offer enhanced homeless patient provisions.

Person Specification:

The ideal candidate will possess strong audiotyping and touch-typing skills, sound medical terminology knowledge, and excellent general IT skills, including MS Office experience. They should also be able to maintain confidentiality and data security at all times.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is £35,000-£45,000 per annum, dependent on experience. The successful candidate will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for professional development and career growth.
