**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled Foot Care Specialist to join our team at HMP Werrington, a young offender institution located in Staffordshire.

As a Foot Care Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with complex and chronic conditions, including diabetic patients, wound management, and nail surgery.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including GPs, nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists, and mental health professionals, to deliver high-quality care and treatment.

The ideal candidate will have post-registration experience and be HCPC registered. You will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to build therapeutic relationships with patients.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assess and treat patients with complex and chronic conditions
  • Determine clinical diagnosis and clinical treatment
  • Maintain accurate records as an autonomous practitioner

**Requirements**

  • HCPC registration with post-registration experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
