We are seeking a Care Support Specialist to join our team at Home Instead Leek & Moorlands. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide companionship and support to individuals living in their own homes in the Leek area.

This is a rewarding role that offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. With minimum 1-hour calls and suitable travel time, you will have the chance to build meaningful relationships with our clients and their families.

The ideal candidate will have a caring and friendly disposition, as well as excellent communication skills. A full driver's license and dependable transportation are also essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing warmth and care during evening visits
  • Aiding in light household chores and meal preparations
  • Supporting clients with personal care tasks such as showering, washing hair, and getting changed
  • Taking clients out to places of their choice, such as the local shops
  • Ensuring transparent communication with clients and loved ones

Requirements:

  • No prior experience is required; we offer comprehensive in-house training
  • A full driver's license and dependable transportation
  • Flexibility to work alternate weekends
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • A caring, friendly disposition

Salary: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
