Job Title: Weighing Technician

At Tropic Skincare, we're seeking a meticulous Weighing Technician to join our growing weighing team. This pivotal role involves accurately weighing and transporting raw materials in preparation for product manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate stock management systems such as Netsuite, Waerlinks, and MARCO to weigh ingredients.
  • Perform scale checks and label containers accurately.
  • Handle raw materials and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures to weigh ingredients for the manufacturing team to produce.
  • Follow all relevant GMP expectations and regulations.
  • Calibrate and maintain weighing scales.
  • Undertake cleaning and sanitising tasks.
  • Manage the identification and status of materials.
  • Re-stock raw materials as needed.
  • Complete all necessary QC documentation and expiry extensions, along with other relevant QA documentation.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience in handling chemicals and raw materials is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using stock management and labelling systems like Netsuite, Waerlinks, and MARCO is highly advantageous.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing context.
  • Forklift driving certification is highly desirable.
