MET Technician Job Description

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our brand-new team in Croydon. As a MET Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs, dismantling vehicles, and performing inspections and diagnostic work.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Carry out mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs
* Dismantle vehicles ready for the panel shop
* Perform inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work
* Order replacement parts
* Re-assemble vehicles with new parts as required

**Requirements:**

* Plan workload effectively to meet agreed timescales
* Work skilfully and safely under pressure
* Carry out work in accordance with manufacturers' specifications
* Work as part of a team and on own initiative with minimal supervision
* Be flexible in approach
* Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind

**About You:**

As a MET Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines. You must have experience as a MET in a Bodyshop environment or be a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician looking for a change to work in a body shop.
