Head of Marketing and Ecommerce

We are seeking an experienced Head of Marketing and Ecommerce to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, supports business growth, and enhances customer engagement across multiple markets and channels.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create and execute data-driven marketing plans that align with the company's objectives, focusing on increasing market share, lead generation, and customer retention.
- Brand Management: Strengthen the company's brand presence in the industry, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms (digital, print, and trade shows).
- Content Creation and Management: Oversee the creation of channel-specific marketing materials such as brochures, case studies, blog posts, and white papers that highlight the company's products and industry expertise.
- Digital Marketing: Lead the company's digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO, PPC campaigns, CRM/email marketing, and social media to drive traffic and generate leads.
- Market Knowledge: Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and business opportunities.
- Trade Shows and Events: Plan and coordinate the company's participation in industry trade shows, conferences, and sponsorship events to showcase our products and capabilities.
- Team Management and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation while ensuring continuous professional growth.
- Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring cost efficiency while achieving maximum impact.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, product development/technical, and customer service teams to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
- Reporting and Analytics: Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies based on performance data and key metrics.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial B2B environment.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing, and social media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration, leadership, and team management skills.
- Willingness to undertake business travel (up to 25% of time).
