About the Role:

We seek a Technical Architect experienced in Enterprise Service Management or SaaS technical delivery. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the integrity of the ServiceNow application within the enterprise. You will ensure that solutions align with corporate architecture and infrastructure standards.

The ideal candidate should be eligible to obtain a security clearance at the SC level.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Govern the relationships between applications, legacy systems, component libraries, content repositories, and supporting databases.
  2. Prepare and lead functional design workshops, creating design specifications based on out-of-the-box functionality and customer requirements.
  3. Develop innovative solutions to resolve business problems, technology issues, process challenges, and people-related difficulties.
  4. Collaborate with Pre-Sales and Delivery teams to support client presentations, workshops, proof-of-concept designs, and technical enquiries.
  5. Deliver hands-on technical solutions for the ServiceNow platform.
  6. Research systems to identify causes of failure or poor operational performance; define, test, and implement detailed solutions.
  7. Stay updated on product developments/releases to a level required for demonstrations and thought leadership.
  8. Mentor and coach others, sharing best practices and knowledge.
  9. Contribute to the growth and development of Engage ESM practices.
  10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  1. Demonstrated experience in technical solution design and implementation of the ServiceNow application.
  2. Proven management and influencing abilities.
  3. Ability to produce documentation at various levels, including technical and customer-facing materials.
  4. In-depth knowledge of IT and Enterprise Service Management is critical.
  5. Expertise and experience with ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM toolsets are essential.
  6. Experience in multiple application architectures and supporting technologies is highly desirable.
  7. Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) and XML knowledge are necessary.
  8. Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle) is beneficial.
  9. A willingness to travel is expected.

This role requires a strong understanding of ServiceNow and its applications, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The estimated salary for this position is £65,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
