About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced nurse to join our Critical Care team at University Hospitals Dorset. As a Staff Nurse - Critical Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Critical Care Unit.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and provide support to patients and their families during their stay with us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our Critical Care Unit
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
  • Support patients and their families during their stay with us
  • Develop and maintain your skills and knowledge in critical care nursing
  • Contribute to the development of our Critical Care Unit's policies and procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Active UK NMC Registration
  • Good foundation in care of acutely ill patients, plus ability to teach/monitor
  • SliP training or equivalent
  • Management experience within acute ward setting at Band 5 grade Staff nurse
  • Management experience in HDU
  • Post Registration ITU course
