Public Health Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Public Health Staff Nurse to join our team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Public Health Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, working in partnership with children, young people, and families to provide services in response to identified needs.
- Work closely with other members of the CYP Public Health Service to provide services in response to identified needs, including safeguarding and supporting children and young people with enuresis.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with local authorities, early intervention services, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Registered Nurse with current registration with the NMC.
- Membership of a relevant professional body.
- Evidence of recent professional development.
- Knowledge of safeguarding children.
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload effectively.
- Recent previous experience within a comparable role.
- Experience of providing clinical supervision and mentoring to junior staff.
- Experience of using electronic patient records.
- Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English to a good standard.
