Job Description
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive governance support, advising on and implementing appropriate policies, practices, and procedures to ensure effective governance throughout the organisation. Responsibilities include supporting the governance framework, keeping abreast of changes in relevant legislation, and providing guidance to sub-committees on governance matters. You will also coordinate the election and appointment process, establish an annual cycle for governance meetings, and plan, coordinate, and prepare agendas, papers, board packs, and reports for key meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you should have experience working in a governance role, providing high-quality governance support to boards and/or committees. You must be highly organised, inquisitive, and possess good time management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and work under your own initiative. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, with emphasis on attention to detail and proofreading. A strong track record of secretariat support, including AGMs, preparing board packs, draft agendas, clear and concise minute taking, and working with key stakeholders, is also required. Additionally, you should have excellent IT skills, including Microsoft 365: Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with CRM/database systems.

Salary and Benefits
