Legal Officer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Officer to join our team at the Royal College of Nursing. As a Legal Officer, you will play a crucial role in delivering legal advice, support, and representation to our members in all aspects of regulatory law.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading trade union and professional body for nursing, supporting over half a million members. You will be responsible for handling a large caseload of regulatory cases, using your excellent communication, written, and presentation skills to maintain the highest professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver legal advice, support, and representation to RCN members in all aspects of regulatory law
  • Handle a large caseload of regulatory cases, working within tight timescales
  • Use your excellent communication, written, and presentation skills to maintain the highest professional standards
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals

Our hybrid working model allows for up to 60% of your working time to be carried out from home, with at least 40% of your working time spent working in person.
