Senior Lawyer Opportunity

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a well-known Public Sector organisation in Belfast City Centre to find a Senior Lawyer for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The Role:

You will provide senior legal advice and assist in managing a legal team to support a range of legal matters for a public organisation. This legal support should be both pragmatic and business-focused, delivered across all business functions, but principally to General Counsel and Company Secretary, Senior Management, and the Executive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist senior legal advice to the organisation
  • Manage a legal team to support legal matters
  • Deliver legal support across all business functions
  • Work closely with General Counsel, Company Secretary, Senior Management, and the Executive team

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister with not less than 5 years PQE
  • 2 years' experience of company and commercial law
  • Experience of law relevant to business organisation
  • Experience of providing advice to a large multi-faceted client or commercial organisation
