Procurement Opportunity at SF Recruitment

SF Recruitment is excited to offer a challenging role for a skilled Procurement Specialist to join a high-growth business based in Derby. This position offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic procurement team within an organization that values its employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procure products and services to support sales plans.
  • Negotiate deals with suppliers and establish long-term agreements or contractual terms.
  • Research and source products from a global supply base with short notice.
  • Maintain accurate procurement master data.
  • Interface with sales, manufacturing, planning, and quality functions to ensure a smooth procurement process.
  • Attend customer meetings where components are customer-supplied.
  • Manage, monitor, and report supplier performance.
  • Ensure all suppliers adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Contribute to and maintain BOMs.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, or buying roles.
  • Proficiency in SAP or a comparable ERP system.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, with an eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage difficult situations and work efficiently under pressure.
