Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials and services to support the business strategies, ensuring the best value for money while maintaining high quality and supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities- Implement procurement categories strategies to provide the best value and quality for the business.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for categories, from RFP through to end supplier management.
- Identify opportunities for new services through the use of innovative products.
- Support project managers with the warranty process, resolving any disputed claims.
- Track supplier performance against contractual service level agreements and escalate issues in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will have extensive procurement experience as a Senior Buyer within an engineering environment, with knowledge of railway industry rolling stock and components. They will be commercially astute, well organized, and experienced in working under pressure.
