       In this role, you will work closely with our Procurement and Commercial functions to embed sustainability into our supply chain processes, aligning with our sustainability strategy. Your key objective will be to develop a strategy for conducting ethical audits in high-risk countries and sectors, while providing guidance to the team on modern slavery risks and opportunities.


       You will have expertise in UK's Net Zero strategy and the implications for the energy transmission and distribution system. Additionally, you will have knowledge of responsible sourcing risks in the infrastructure manufacturing sector, including human rights issues. Your experience working with complex commercial supply chains and procurement functions will be essential in this role.


       Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and lead training and knowledge sharing with relevant stakeholders
  • Align closely with key Group Communities of Practice (CoP), such as supply chain carbon CoP, Carbon CoP, Resource Efficiency CoP, as relevant
  • Expertise in UK's Net Zero strategy and the implications for the energy transmission and distribution system
  • Knowledge of responsible sourcing risks in the infrastructure manufacturing sector including human rights issues
  • Have experience working with complex commercial supply chains and procurement functions
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Have a business mindset and commercial awareness
  • Willingness to travel UK wide, with potential international travel
