Health and Support Team Leader

This is a unique opportunity to join the Women's and Children Service team as a divisional support manager. The post holder will support the operational development and running of a new regional service for Children and Young People who are questioning their gender identity.
The role involves supporting the planning, development, and implementation of this new service, as well as supporting the Commercial Development Manager on a range of service improvement projects across the division.
Main Responsibilities- Manage limited and defined service areas within the Division
- Contribute to annual planning processes for their service areas
- Support the planning, development, and implementation of service improvement, capital, and other projects for the areas they are responsible for

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have a good level of education and evidence of Continuous Professional Development. A recognised management qualification, degree, or relevant postgraduate qualification in health service management would be desirable.
The candidate should have experience of managing a clinical, social, or equivalent service, with success in working collaboratively across professions and services. Demonstrable success in planning and managing waiting lists, budgetary management experience, and experience of managing a team are essential.
Audit experience and public sector experience would be desirable.
The candidate should have knowledge of the NHS and modernisation agenda, the importance of successful partnership working, principles of lifelong learning, professional education and training, workforce planning, recruitment, and retention, and patient and public involvement.
The ideal candidate should have analysis, interpretation, and use of information skills, ability to motivate and empower others, excellent communication skills, including interpersonal skills, liaison, and negotiation skills, influencing clinicians and managers for service improvement, budget and resource management, computer literacy, ability to prioritise work, meet tight deadlines, and work independently, and positive and effective team worker.
The candidate should be able to understand and behave at all times, towards patients, visitors, and colleagues according to the Trust values of safe, kind, excellent.
The candidate should be willing to work anywhere in the Trust and to travel, on occasions, within the region and nationally.
