Election Programme Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join the London Elects team as an Election Programme Manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-profile elections for the Mayor of London and the London Assembly.
About the RoleThe Election Programme Manager will be responsible for leading the development, management, and delivery of the Mayor of London and London Assembly elections. This includes managing budgets, leading staff, and ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the election programme from start to finish, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
- Develop and maintain arrangements to achieve Electoral Commission performance standards.
- Prepare and implement project plans, workstream programmes, and milestone targets.
- Maintain awareness of legislative and policy changes relating to elections.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in managing large-scale programmes and/or projects in a public sector organisation.
- An excellent understanding of election management or the ability to quickly build up expertise in a new area.
