Job Title: Election Operations Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Election Operations Manager to join our team at the Greater London Authority (GLA). As a key member of our electoral services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of mayoral and assembly elections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, management, and delivery of election operations, including budget management and staff allocation.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with London borough elections teams and other stakeholders.
- Provide efficient and effective management and delivery of election operations in accordance with legislation and best practice.
- Develop and maintain arrangements to achieve compliance with the Electoral Commission performance standards.
- Prepare and implement project plans and workstream programmes to ensure compliance with statutory delivery of elections.
Requirements:
- Experience in managing large-scale election operations in a public sector organisation.
- Excellent understanding of election management and commitment to the GLA's role and relationship with London boroughs.
