About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our properties across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out a variety of cleaning tasks, including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Operate a range of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning and maintenance objectives.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities management team.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Good communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
