Financial Communications and Media Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce and write press releases targeting a financial audience
  • Build relations with business and economy departments of influential media in Switzerland and key international markets
  • Establish and protect SGS's strategic narrative and reputation in the media
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the SGS corporate public relations strategy
  • Monitor and report on SGS's reputation in the media, in conjunction with the Digital Analytics team
Requirements
  • Strong writing skills in English, with the ability to combine synthetic, analytical, and strategic messaging
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, communications, or a related field
  • 5-10+ years of experience in financial communications, corporate communications, or business media
  • Experience writing financial and corporate press releases
  • Excellent network of Swiss and international media contacts, including journalists specializing in business and economy
  • Native or bilingual proficiency in English, professional working proficiency in German, and fluent French
