Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a local college in Cambridge. As a Learning Support Mentor, you will work with students with learning difficulties and disabilities, empowering them to achieve greater independence and success in their studies.
Requirements- To maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and support activities using the Pro-monitor system.
- To identify and address students' support needs by referring them to learner services or safeguarding teams as appropriate.
You will have recent experience supporting individuals with special educational needs, computer literacy, and a strong commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion. A Level 2 Learning Support Qualification is desirable but not essential. We offer a competitive salary of £22,169 to £22,724 per annum (FTE) and a range of benefits including enhanced DBS check and training opportunities.
