Job Overview:
Dovetail and Slate is an employment business partnering with over 200 colleges across the UK to offer exciting Learning Support Assistant opportunities. We are seeking individuals with experience supporting learners or a care background to fill hourly paid LSAs positions.

About the Role:
We work with a private training provider requiring LSA support across various locations, including Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff, Sunderland, Chesterfield, Lincoln, Cambridge, Southampton, Middlesborough, Leeds, Doncaster, and Croydon. The ideal candidate will have term-time only contracts, year-long commitments, or part-time arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing 1:1 and group support to students with additional learning needs
  • Assisting teachers/lecturers in ensuring inclusive SEN student experiences
  • Safeguarding vulnerable learners

Requirements:
To succeed, you must have either experience working with SEN children or young adults or possess an extensive care background. Additionally, you should be knowledgeable about additional learning needs, hold up-to-date safeguarding training, and have an enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one.
