We are seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at an outstanding primary school in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to make a positive impact on the education and development of young learners.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing focused support to children with special educational needs, ensuring they have access to high-quality learning opportunities and personalized care.
Responsibilities- Working 1:1 with students who have special educational needs, helping them engage with lessons and develop academically and socially.
- Assisting teachers in the preparation and adaptation of resources to support students with additional needs.
- Supporting students with positive behavior strategies and promoting independence and confidence in their learning.
- Experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Strong passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A clear DBS check.
- Legal right to work within the UK.
This is a full-time permanent position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a collaborative culture that values the contributions of all staff.
We estimate the salary for this role to be around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
