About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Assistant to join our team at Sarah Raven. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Accountant & Finance Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records
  • Assist with quarterly VAT returns and stock reconciliations
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Analyze variances and provide insights for improvement
  • Support the preparation of Management Accounts and assist with year-end audit work
  • Respond to finance-related queries from staff members
  • Undertake ad-hoc reporting and projects as required
Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Excel
  • Proficiency in using computers and software applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented individual
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
