About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Economist to join our team at Economicsnetwork. The successful candidate will have a strong background in development economics and experience in policy analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in economics, public policy, development studies, or a related field, with a focus on development economics or political economy. A doctoral degree is desirable, but relevant work experience can compensate.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting research and analysis on economic development in Africa and developing countries
  • Developing and implementing policies to support economic growth and poverty reduction
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, including multilateral organisations, international financial institutions, and government agencies

A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum is offered, depending on experience. Benefits include a comprehensive pension scheme, life insurance, and generous annual leave.
