Apprentice Build Technician Opportunity

We are looking for two enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Build Technician Apprentices at Prodrive Advanced Technology.

About Our Work:

Our team delivers complex engineering designs and specialist manufacturing programmes to various sectors, including automotive, aerospace, marine, defence, and clean energy. Our diverse portfolio includes projects such as novel suspension systems, innovative aircraft seating systems, and the design and delivery of a new hydraulic control system for a hypercar.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the department on diverse project assembly tasks, developing skills on live projects.
  • Conduct thorough testing on assembled components to ensure they meet required standards.

What We Require:

  1. A minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, Science, or any STEM subject (grade 4-9).
  2. Be proactive, eager to learn, and willing to engage in both academic studies and practical work.
  3. No prior professional experience is required, but a strong interest in mechanical engineering or related fields is essential.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive starting salary (£) 30,000 - £35,000 per annum, with semi-annual pay reviews in line with performance and development.
  • Participation in our Apprenticeship Training Programme, featuring rotations across multiple departments, ensuring comprehensive, in-depth training and hands-on experience in diverse areas.
  • Paid travel expenses to and from your place of study.
  • 25 days annual leave (plus holiday purchase) and up to 15 days flexi leave.
