FX Trading System Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled FX Trading System Engineer to join our team at Barclays Bank PLC. As an FX Trading System Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our FX trading systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for the service management function to resolve complex issues related to FX trading systems.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of FX trading systems and infrastructure.
  • Analyze system logs and error messages to identify root causes of issues and provide resolutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and remediate potential service impacting risks and issues.
  • Proactively assess support activities and implement automations to maintain stability and drive efficiency.
Requirements
  • Strong technical background in FX trading systems and infrastructure.
  • Proficient in Linux, Java, and Python scripting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
