Job Description

We are seeking a Plant and Transport Admin Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the construction, plant hire, or utilities industry. In this role, you will be working with various administrative duties, including placing orders and using software platforms to run reports and achieve compliance with our existing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform various administrative duties, including placing orders and using software platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with existing procedures.
  • Work as part of a team in a busy environment.
  • Have excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
  • Be flexible and highly motivated.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the Plant, Logistics, Utilities, or Construction industry preferred but not essential.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Effective administration, planning, and organization skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience of Business Central software preferred but not essential.

Location

The successful candidate will be based at our office near Warrington.

Working Hours

The full-time position is 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday (40 hours). Part-time remote working is available upon request.
