About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Podiatrist to join our innovative Podiatry department at Salford Care Organisation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including monitoring, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a wide range of foot conditions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine treatment clinics, emergency clinics, and wound-care for high-risk patients
  • Develop and implement individual treatment plans for patients requiring diagnosis and treatment
  • Participate in rotation into supported development clinics in Nail Surgery, Advanced Vascular Assessments, New Patient Triage, and Biomechanics
  • Manage a domiciliary caseload within Residential or Private Nursing Homes and in patients' own homes
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records

Person Specification

Essential Qualifications/Registration

  • Degree in Podiatric Medicine
  • HCPC registration
  • Local anaesthesia certificate

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Broad knowledge of routine and high-risk patient care, including diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, and wound care
  • Good knowledge of biomechanics
  • Ability to work as a member of a team

  • Understanding of Trust Values
  • Full driving license or assisted driver
