About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Podiatrist to join our innovative Podiatry department at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including monitoring, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a range of foot conditions.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide routine and high-risk patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment/management of conditions such as diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, and wound care.
- Work as a member of a team to deliver patient-centered care and contribute to the development of individual treatment plans.
- Undertake rotations into supported development clinics in Nail Surgery, Advanced Vascular Assessments, New Patient Triage, and Biomechanics.
- Manage a domiciliary caseload within Residential or Private Nursing Homes and in the client's own home.
- Maintain accurate and full patient records.

Essential
- Degree in Podiatric Medicine
- HCPC registration
- Local anaesthesia certificate
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential
- Broad knowledge of routine and high-risk patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment/management of conditions such as diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, and wound care.
- Good knowledge of biomechanics
- Work as a member of a team
