About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Podiatrist to join our innovative Podiatry department at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including monitoring, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a range of foot conditions.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct routine treatment clinics, emergency clinics, and wound-care services for high-risk patients.
- Develop and implement individual treatment plans and podiatry interventions for patients with complex foot conditions.
- Participate in supported development clinics in nail surgery, advanced vascular assessments, new patient triage, and biomechanics.
- Manage a domiciliary caseload within residential or private nursing homes and in patients' own homes.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.

Person Specification
We are looking for a Podiatrist with a degree in Podiatric Medicine, HCPC registration, and local anaesthesia certification. You will have a broad knowledge of routine and high-risk patient care, including diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, and wound care. You will also have good knowledge of biomechanics and the ability to work as a member of a team.
