About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Central Finance Analyst to join our team based in Solihull, Birmingham. As a key member of our UK finance team, you will provide reporting and analytical support across the Cement and Packed Products business.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead on Capital Expenditure, Powders Business Unit support, and month end reporting support
  • Provide reporting, analysis, and insight to support Powders Business as the lead finance business partner
  • Own the end-to-end management of Cement, Packed, Powders Capital Expenditure Reporting, Forecasting, Budgeting
  • Responsible for the completion of relevant Monthly/Quarterly/Annual SOx controls within Capital Expenditure
  • Support the production of the month end reporting pack and other standardised reports, providing commentary and analysis on performance as required
Requirements
  • Preferably a part-qualified accountant or finalist with relevant financial reporting and business partnering experience
  • Experience in financial reporting, supporting month end completion, forecast/budget creation, and ensuring compliance with corporate/external reporting frameworks
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience creating and updating financial models
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and drive process change and improvement
