About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Auditor to join our Internal Audit team at Asda Stores Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of technology risks and controls across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver risk-based audits and value-add advisory work to support the business in managing technology risks and controls.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, and implement controls to ensure the integrity of our technology systems.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our technology landscape, including core IT platforms, cyber security, and cloud technology.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to the business on technology-related matters, including risk management, compliance, and governance.
  • Contribute to the development of our technology audit capability, including the design and implementation of audit programs and procedures.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in internal or external audit, risk, or IT, either in a commercial environment or in an accountancy practice.
  • Good knowledge of IT general controls and IT automated controls.
  • Ability to manage your own workload to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Part or fully qualified in a relevant qualification, such as IIA, ACA, or ACCA.
