About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Auditor to join our Internal Audit team at Asda Stores Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of technology risks and controls across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver risk-based audits and value-add advisory work to support the business in managing technology risks and controls.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, and implement controls to ensure the integrity of our technology systems.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our technology audit strategy, aligned with the organization's overall risk management framework.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to business leaders on technology-related risks and controls, ensuring they are aware of and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in internal or external audit, risk, or IT, either in a commercial environment or in an accountancy practice.
  • Good knowledge of IT general controls and IT automated controls.
  • Ability to manage own workload to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
