About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Auditor to join our Internal Audit team at Asda Stores Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the business through a period of transformational change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver risk-based audits and value-add advisory work to ensure effective management of associated risks and opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, and to implement controls and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Asda's technology ecosystem, including core IT platforms, cyber security, and cloud technology.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to the business on IT-related matters, including risk management, compliance, and governance.
  • Contribute to the development of the internal audit plan and ensure that audits are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in internal or external audit, risk, or IT, either in a commercial environment or in an accountancy practice.
  • Good knowledge of IT general controls and IT automated controls.
  • Ability to manage own workload to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and adapt to new technologies and processes.
