Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Auditor to join our Internal Audit and Risk Management team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business through transformational change, providing insight to effectively manage risks, and ensuring opportunities are fully realised.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver risk-based audits, value-add advisory work, and risk management reviews
  • Support the business through change, partnering with Asda functions to ensure effective risk management
  • Collaborate with the Internal Audit Manager - Technology to drive business outcomes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including IT and business leaders
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, risks, and trends to inform audit and advisory work
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in internal or external audit, risk, or IT, either in a commercial environment or in an accountancy practice
  • Good knowledge of IT general controls and IT automated controls
  • Ability to manage workload, ensuring timely delivery of projects
  • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and a curious mindset
  • Agility and ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Part or fully qualified in a relevant qualification (e.g. IIA, ACA, ACCA etc)
