Job Role: Teaching Assistant

Location: Waterlooville

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Contract

Hours: Full time, 8:30am – 3:30pm (Mon – Fri)

Salary: £450 per week

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work with children in Key Stage 3 and 4 who have social, emotional, and mental health difficulties as well as other complex needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children's emotional wellbeing and communication skills
  • Working with small groups of pupils under the guidance of a teacher
  • Safeguarding will be your number one priority ensuring the welfare of the pupils
  • Working with Key stage 3 and 4 aged pupils

Requirements:

  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
