Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an After School Program Coordinator at Blackpool Primary School.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and supervision to children aged 4-11 years during term time. A Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent is desirable, but experience working with children in a busy environment is also taken into consideration.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a small team of staff and contribute to the development of engaging activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our young learners.

We offer a competitive salary of £18,600 - £20,100 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, and one free childcare space available with this post.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care and supervision to children aged 4-11 years during term time.
  • Develop and implement engaging activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our young learners.
  • Work collaboratively with a small team of staff to ensure the smooth operation of the after-school program.
  • Support children with their learning and development needs, including homework support and snack provision.
Requirements:
  • A Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children in a busy environment.
  • Ability to develop and implement engaging activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of children.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
