Animal Welfare Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Animal Welfare Coordinator. This is a full-time position with fragmented hours, offering a competitive salary of $25/hour.

The successful candidate will be responsible for caring for our breeding dogs, following our dog and puppy training protocols, and interacting with animals. They will also be expected to manage the Shift Schedule and time off requests for our Puppy Care Coordinator's team.

Additional opportunities include extra hours for outdoor maintenance and office duties, as well as the option to train puppies in their home for our 12-week full training program.

This position requires punctuality due to the nature of our business and working with live animals. Experience with kennel boarding and vet tech skills are assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Caring for our breeding dogs
  • Following dog and puppy training protocols
  • Interacting with animals
  • Managing Shift Schedules and time off requests
  • Cleaning pens and whelping boxes, feeding and watering, brushing and grooming, bathing puppies, cleaning training facility floors, general dusting and cleaning
