Job Summary

Concept Resourcing is seeking a skilled Photocopier Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of high-end Photocopiers and Multifunctional Devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair a full range of Multifunctional Print equipment in line with technical specifications.
  • Attend to field technical calls at client premises, responding to requests within targeted response times and fixing products efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate technical records are maintained via use of PDA service support tools and communication with call control.
  • Organise and maintain a suitable vehicle or onsite spare parts kit to minimise Return to Fit RTF calls.
  • Maintain and manage cloud-based digital document repository access via regular online synchronisation of provided laptop tools.
  • Ensure company vehicles are maintained in line with published procedures and kept clean and presentable.
  • Maintain accurate work expense records and submit these, along with receipts, at required times.
  • Attend technical training courses, seminars, and other events to maintain technical skills and product awareness.
  • Liaise and co-operate with other departments to promote an efficient level of operational service.
  • Communicate regularly within the Technical Department escalation channels regarding technical observations.

Requirements

  • Competent technician with extensive experience of repairing and maintaining colour and monochrome Multifunctional Devices.
  • Connectivity experience, including installing print drivers and connecting basic printers to simple networks.
  • High level of competency in relation to diagnostic fault finding.
  • DBS and SC Vetting will be a mandatory requirement for this role.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Advanced IT networking and connectivity experience, including setting up network scanning and full MFP installation on print servers.
