Neurodevelopmental Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neurodevelopmental Specialist to join our team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Neurodevelopmental Care Pathway team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality specialist clinical assessments and treatment plans for children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including psychiatric and physical investigations, to inform treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individually tailored treatment plans.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and other stakeholders on neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
- 12 years post-qualification experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Full registration with the GMC.
- High-level knowledge and experience of neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Excellent clinical skills, using a bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
