About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paralegal Advisor, you will play a key role in the management of a mixed caseload, including statement request files, employer/public liability claims, clinical negligence claims, general advice, and basic inquest matters.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Assist the Legal Services Team with day-to-day administration, conduct, and investigation of legal matters
  • Manage a caseload of complex legal cases, requiring excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of health and legal professionals

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Law and possibly a relevant postgraduate qualification (LPC or BPTC)
  • Previous experience working as a Paralegal, particularly in the management of clinical negligence/personal injury claims and/or inquests
  • Excellent written communication and drafting skills
  • CILEX member or equivalent qualification/experience
