Tutor Position Description

An experienced SEN tutor is required to teach students with diverse needs and abilities at a reputable SEND school in North Leeds.

This full-time role involves delivering adaptable lessons, teaching strategies for out-of-school life, and managing classroom behaviour.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual pupil needs.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student outcomes.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • QTS/ECT qualification.
  • Experience in teaching students with special educational needs, including ADD, ADHD, ODD, CAMHS, Complex Needs, Behaviour Difficulties, Autism, or MLD.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and adaptability.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this SEN tutor role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, based on experience. Additionally, we offer weekly pay with no deductions or umbrella company charges, flexibility, and access to own diary for booking time off or requesting work.
